Prayas India Charity Foundation (P.I.C.F) is Introduced on 9th July 2021. By Mr Praveen Singh Sengar & Mrs Sangeeta Sahni
They dream to serve for people with special abilities (DIVYANG)
Now PICF is working in 5 States of India, supported by a local NGO.
PICF depends on Sponsorship and Donation from Government and Non -Government agencies.
PICF always organizes events with the support of local NGOs.
PRAYAS is not just an effort but an effort with a mission. It holds a mission to have equity and inclusion in Events where all sorts of special abilities could harness their potential and excel in their favourite events. Our Federation has started this initiative to boost the morale of every disabled person with spirit. But there have been para-athletics events to make the sportsperson with a be part special abilities of somewhere there are not enough sports or Cultural events that have been organized in terms of frequency so that these para-athletes could feel more connected to sports. PICF, our federation is inching towards this goal and wants to involve our para-athletes to be part of the Sports federation in a more congenial way.

OUR MISSION & GOALS •

To organize different competitions for differently-abled sportspersons at district, state Zonal and national levels. • To equip special needs people through capacity building in self-help and empowerment skills. • To empower special needs people through vocational skills for self-sustenance and income generation. • To provide early intervention therapies for special needs children. • To extend welfare support to special needs people. • To provide communities with knowledge on the needs and potential of persons with disabilities. • To build tolerance, understanding, and support of special needs people. • To provide counselling and guidance to special needs children, their parents, families, and the community.
• To promote home and community-based therapy and rehabilitation interventions.
To provide suitable education services for children with disabilities like sign language.
To provide day care and nursery services to children for integration of special needs children.
• To promote recreation, games, and sports for therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures.
• To provide information to the community to enhance the understanding of disability to reduce stigma and rejection of Special Children and Special People.
• ‘Equipped Special Needs People For Full Community Integration’.
AWARENESS awareness helps in subsiding the stereotypical mindset of the society, hence providing vast opportunities for everyone to get involved in creating a positive, inclusive society for special abilities.
